“HEADPHONE ALERT”
From our recent Circle of Care live stream comes a really cool Playing in the Band. This version features outstanding vocals from our percussionist and resident backliner Aaron Hagele. The song smoothly transitions from the main verses into the beginning of the jam and stays in D major introducing a slight take on the “feeling groovy” jam that keeps the band centered in the major key for longer than usual. After a few minutes the entire band, led by the Rhythm section (Paul Dunay, Ric Lubell and the backliner boys) drops into a nice melodic minor jam that sets the tone for the rest of the open ended material. The night was great, the band sounded great and the audience appreciated some live music once again. Hope you enjoy!
